Bard was announced this week as a response to tech giant ChatGPT and as a rival to Microsoft's attempt to update the Bing search engine with its own new AI. Google hopes that more bugs will be resolved during the ongoing testing phase.
Google has stressed the need for "rigorous testing" of its long-awaited chatbots after costing its parent company $100bn (£82.7bn) for giving wrong answers in an official ad.
The bug was revealed in his Bard AI promotional tweet from the tech giant's official account.
