Rizwan admits 'didn't deserve to be on New Zealand series'

PCB's controversial decision to demote Mohammad Rizwan to Sarfaraz Ahmed in the two-Test series against New Zealand is one of the biggest stories of the entire series. However, Rizwan said he felt "unfit" to play for Pakistan in his current form.

In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, Rizwan said: ``Ask what I said to head coach Sakrin Mushtak after England's Test series. , felt unqualified to participate in the next series."

In his final half-dozen Tests, Rizwan's form slumped with the bat, batting 262 carries in 12 innings without a half-century for an average of 21.83. It was believed that his quality behind was enough to protect him from mistakes.
